On November 9, 2022, our neuroradiologist and CEO, Arnaud Atty\u00e9, hosted a webinar for radiologists in partnership with Bayer.<\/p>\n

In current practice, MRI brain scans are analysed visually, using automatic segmentation software. Such software is potentially useful for detecting quantitative abnormalities and their evolution over time. <\/p>\n

However, they also have their limitations. These relate in particular to the lack of information on the diseases from which patients suffer. But they are also linked to the so-called “machine effect”. This is induced by the different magnetic fields applied, which can give information that reflects the type of machine more than the type of disease. This is why GeodAIsics creates digital twins adapted to each new patient. <\/p>\n

Imaging doesn’t explain everything, and it’s important for artificial intelligence to colour in the “grey areas” where the patient is carrying a disease that the system doesn’t know about.<\/p>\n
